NordMende Joins The Bridal Party




In a move to show off its range of home appliances and build recognition for the brand, NordMende sponsored five Fab! Wedding Shows in Northern Ireland throughout January and February. Offering high-specification products alongside attractive promotions proved to be a marriage made in heaven.


As part of continuing efforts to build the brand across the region, and direct customers to approved retailers, NordMende decided to raise awareness through sponsorship of the popular Fab! Wedding Shows that draw around 4,500 visitors, many of whom are looking to set up their first home.

“We didn’t want NordMende to seem like ‘just another appliance brand’ at a kitchen show,” says Eamon Lennox, Sales Manager at NordMende, “because it’s so much more than that. NordMende is proud to offer a higher-than-average specification at an affordable price, and we understand that young couples want the best value for money, so it made sense to speak to them direct at the shows in order to promote the brand’s key benefits.”

As well as offering visitors to the five shows a chance to win a luxury break plus £1,000 of NordMende white goods and audio-visual products, all visitors were presented with a 20 per cent discount voucher that can only be redeemed through NordMende’s approved retailers.

“We understand that brides are a good target audience for our brand,” explains Eamon. “Even though economic conditions are tough, young couples don’t want to compromise on technology or ease of use. All our products, from our slimline built-in dishwashers to our award-winning laundry appliances, tick the boxes for design, technology and affordability.

“We’re confident that our retailers will notice increased interest in NordMende products as a result of the shows,” adds Eamon.

As the shows’ official sponsor, NordMende benefitted from event advertising in high-profile magazines including Ulster Bride, IN! Magazine and NI Bridal Magazine; websites including Ireland’s Homes & Lifestyle magazine; and on regional radio.
